We have complied a few questions and answers we always get from customers about fishing holidays in France so hopefully you'll find what information you need in here.
How far is Teillatts from Calais?
250 miles or about 4h hour simple drive. There are tolls on this route.
Do you provide a food package?
No. This is a drive and survive holiday, so you'll need to cater for yourself.
Is there a nearby supermartket?
Yes. There are local facilities including a supermarket you can drive to 10km in either direction. Click here to view local facilities.
Do we need to prebook rowing boats?
Yes, this can be done to avoid disappointment in your 'customer log in area' online. We have limited boats so its best if you want to guarantee yourself the use of one.
Can we bring our own rowing boats and bait boats?
Only rowing boats supplied at Teillatts may be used.
When can I order bait?
It is best to order your bait at least 2 weeks in advance. This can be done in your 'customer log in area' online. If you run out you can also order extra from the on-site bailiff when you are there or you can order and pay online in your 'customer log in area'.
Do I need to bring my own mat, sling and landing net?
Yes. We provide cradles for the protection of our carp, you may bring your own nets and slings but ALL personal items MUST be dipped in our Disinfecting Tank on Arrival.
Can we bring our own bait?
You may bring your own boilies but all other pellets & particle baits other than those supplied by Teillatts are not allowed.
Are there charging facilities?
No. You'll need to bring your own means of charging your mobiles, head torches, etc.
Are there toilet and shower facilities at the lake.
There are 2 twin toilet blocks and a shower on the lake.
Can I bring my dog?
No... sorry.
Can I drive to my swim?
Most swims are accessible by vehicle, weather permitting, once unloaded vehicles must be parked in the designated areas, which will be advised on the walk round.
What time do I arrive and leave the lake?
Anglers are asked to arrive at 11am on the Saturday morning. Please do not arrive early as you will not be able to enter the venue. You must vacate your swim by 9am on departure day.
